made for the 2025 Pirate software game jam
ricochet is a 2D speed-running style game where you have one knife that must be picked up and thrown to defeat enemies.
you play as a juvenile ant queen, the last ant in the colony after the wasp attack. wielding the sacred weapon of your people, you must escape your dying nest. you are your colony's last hope.
known bugs: the music does not loop in the browser version

This is so much fun, love the dislodge mechanic and general flair. Found out you can kill enemies with the dislodged knife.
